  • Preschool Teacher – Full Time

    Rise Academy of Lifelong Learning is seeking candidates for the position of a full-time preschool teacher immediately and for 2024-25 academic school year.  We are striving to be the leading immersion school in Southern Indiana, providing students with the highest level of social and academic opportunities in a Christian, faith-based environment. It is our mission to prepare children on the autism spectrum and neurotypical peers for success in their lives, careers, and communities. You will teach and supervise a classroom of 50/50 typical learners and children with special needs.

    We seek to hire a full-time Preschool Teacher who shall:

    • Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Differentiate Lesson Plans and Academic Instruction for students with diverse learning abilities.

    • Work closely with general education colleagues, Intervention Specialists, and Therapy Teams.

    • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and translate lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction.

    • Communicate consistently with families concerning academic, social, and behavioral goals.

    • Maintain classroom management.

    • Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.

    • Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources.

    • Attend and participate in scheduled meetings as required.

    The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:

    • Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods.

    • Passion for children with special needs.

    • Methodical and creative thinking.

    • Patience, flexibility, and love for children.

    • Strong communication and time management skills.

    • Understanding or willingness to learn and accommodate those with special needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in early childhood education or elementary required.

    • 2 years minimum as a lead teacher in a preschool classroom is preferred.

  • Kindergarten Teacher – Full Time
